One of the most difficult things to get working in XUL is templates. If you do have problems, perhaps you might find these 30 new template examples useful. Also, you can view them using a simple XUL viewer.
"Example: Generate HTML using the full syntax" doesn't work on my computer with firefox 0.9.2.
It displays nothing both with the example viewer and with http://www.xulplanet.com/testcases/templates/html-iterate-full.xul

Neil this is really great... but I'm still trying to understand the **why** of XUL templates.
Maybe I'm missing the bigger picture here, but it seems to me that templates are great for XUL applications that display _static_ data... but what about a database-driven application intranet/internet application that uses XUL for its front-end display? How would templates be useful in a scenario like that?

Your app server could delivery RDF then templates could help you show multiple views of the dataset in XUL.
Neil, how about a .zip of the examples?
