Neil Deakin began his interest in Mozilla / Netscape with his first job at an ISP, several weeks before Netscape Communicator 4.0 was released. He proceeded to butcher the dialup version of it to add branding and features that would be part of the package of software distributed to users. He continued his interest in Mozilla once it became available in open source form.
Neil has always been interested in user interface design and he became interested in XUL because of this. He realized that a good way to learn something is to try and document it, so he began work on the XUL tutorial in September of 1999.
Currently, he works for Mozdev Group, Inc., which provides Mozilla software development and consulting. If you have some cash you would like to get rid of, we will be more than happy to take it off your hands, in exchange for the completion of some task that you may have.
